    Learn How Firefighters Save Lives
    William Rolland Firefighter Educational Institute

Developed via a generous gift from the William Rolland Firefighter Foundation, The William Rolland Firefighter Educational Institute includes an exhibit on techniques used in fire rescue, the history of the Medal of Valor, and a video series on how to save yourself and your family from the dangers of fire in your home (produced by R|com Creative in collaboration with the William Rolland Firefighter Foundation).

This is the first of several newly designed and implemented exhibits in the Hollywood 27 museum. Originally a Chief Officer's quarters, this new exhibit is filled with stories that will captivate your entire family.

The exhibit can be seen on the second floor of Museum 27. Copies of the personal fire safety DVD, entitled Help! Fire! may be purchased in the gift shop at the museum or online in the museum DVD store.

The William Rolland Firefighter Foundation is also active in fire and life safety in collaboration with other organizations, including educational DVDs on a variety of subjects, including fire safety, fireworks, and earthquake safety.

William Rolland is a retired Los Angeles Firefighter, who was awarded the Medal of Valor for his efforts during a mud slide rescue in the Hollywood Hills.

The William Rolland Firefighter Educational Institute Exhibit was designed by R|com Creative, LLC.
