LAFD Historical Society Golf Tournament |

For many of us, playing golf is something we could do every day. For others, there needs to be a good reason do set a full day aside. We've got an invitation for golf that will likely appeal to everyone!
This is one of our most important fund-raising activities and we welcome your support. As with previous years, we'll tee off at the Porter Valley Country Club at 9:00AM. Please plan on arriving by 8:30AM to get registered and practice your swing!
This is a terrific opportunity to show your support for the Fallen Firefighter Memorial and the historic artifacts preserved at the LAFD Museum in Hollywood. You don't need a golf index to play and hackers are more than welcome. Have you ever seen a firefighter foursome play? It takes days!
So come get a new golf shirt, eat some terrific food, get your picture taken with a TV or firefighter celebrity, and help a great cause.
There are still opportunities for sponsorship and event participation. This is one of the most affordable golf tournaments you could ever hope to be a part of. So, call up your friends, engage the firefighters in your station, and ask to take the day off. It's time to get out on the greens, enjoy great food, and support an important cause that can't stop just because the economy is soft. Firefighters put their lives on the line each and every day. We need to show our support, for our brothers and sisters, and for the community at large.
Tournament Entry Fee: $100.00 which includes:
- Green fees including cart
- Tee gift packet
- Range balls
- Four-Player Scramble format
- Lunch and refreshments on course
- Reception & Awards Celebration
